The storms finally passed leaving damage to hundreds of homes in Clarksville. Last Wednesday I sat watching my favorite cooking show Mad Hunger when I heard a popping sound..a sound from Florida and transformers exploding during a hurricane. Lights out.
It was a long 24 hours later feeling really concerned especially after all my neighbors' lights were on. CDE told me something on my box did not trip. I called an electrician.
Enters Mr. Yardbrough. He checked the electrical system from head to toe. "no problem with your equipment" he reassured me. He checked the lines outside leading to the house. The greatest moment this retired Army Signal Corps Vet. called CDE and told them there was absolutely no power coming into my home. He also stated this 70 years old woman needs to be placed on a priority list. He left his name and credentials at their request.
The next morning at 10:00 am, the magical hour, the CDE repair men appeared and told me there were at least three other homes without power. They were so very nice and professional. I suspect they were very tired from fixing all the down power lines covered with down trees in Clarksville, Tn.
The lesson God taught me was he would never abandon me...though I was in tears and feeling lost and powerless. My Father was with me and had the power to fix this situation and me.
When the lights came on I went to my knees and thanked Him for his loving kindness and blessed the souls who came to help me and others during this dark storm.
James Yarbrough,LLE and the considered Clarkville Department of Electicity were professional and effected..thank you Jesus.
Now on to those tree blooming gutters..will the contractor ever show? I know Jesus is in charged.
AMEN
