A Fond NYC Memory From A Cookbook

While living in NYC I increased my desire to cook well by taking many cooking classes. Thanks to Julia Child lighting the fire when we lived in our wonderful "homey" home in Closter, NJ.
.
"The I Love To Cook Book" really rang my motivational bell. I found so many practical and gourmet recipes. The one I remember most was on page 98.
.
World's Greatest Chocolate Mousse.
.
1 6-ounce package of semisweet chocolate bits
2 eggs
3 tablespoons very strong hot coffee
1 to 2 tablespoons Grand Marnier or rum
3/4cup scald milk
Combine all in the blender and mix at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour into a small souffle' dish or 4 to 6 individual dessert cups. Chill. Serve garnished with whipped cream.
Yum yum. I served this dessert to many guests including an old NBC producer who could not get enough of this delicious mousse.
It was so simple to make..isn't that the way life is..simple things sometimes have a large impact.
The book only cost $5.oo at Amazon.com.
I hope you will build your happy memories with special foods you serve your family and friends.

GOD BLESS
