Martini And A Memory

Today while I was taking pictures of my newly appearing sunflowers and barbecuing chicken I had a memory of how a martini tasted. It was a pleasant thought and sensation.

When I lived in Closter N.J I devoted all my time to the girls, house and garden. My husband at that time traveled a great deal.

Life presented an unbearable situation that encouraged me to go blonde and do a lot of clothing shopping in Washington, D.C. I looked really great. Thanks to Kenneth the top stylist who crated a fabulous hair style for me in New York City.

This martini deal became quite comforting. Sharing a vodka martini and munching on peanuts while waiting in a restaurant to go to dinner was quite a change from life in Closter, N.J. I was seeing life very different with my husband and me.

The only good memory now is the wonderful martini. So if you are having problems in your relationship and begin to change your hair style... something we girls seem to do...try a martini.

It can numb the pain. It can also bring out anger. If that is your choice.

Now looking back Jesus can do a better job in comforting you. He is the door.
John 14:6

Just a thought.
